Thanksgiving Mass

On May 25th the Let Us Walk Together Project held a mass of Thanksgiving for the Let Us Walk Together Project. Many former volunteers, former staffers, residents from the communities we serve, and various other people who have made this project possible came to the service.

Some of the staffers and members of the Standing Committee  wrote prayers for the numerous programs the project has been involved in over the past 2 years. During the service many of the prayers were said aloud and then placed on a map of the Tohoku Region. It was very beautiful. It gave us all time to think about all that we have been apart of and all that lies ahead. This past weekend we also had visitors for the Diocese of Leicester in England. One of the priests offered up her own prayers for the project as well.

It was a very nice service and it great to have to have so many people there together celebrating this work. You could tell that God was present in each and everyone of the people there. Thank you to all of you who made this project possible.
